About Me

Hey y'all! Let's start with the basics:
My name is Lauren Elizabeth (Ingram) Danner. I was born and raised in South Carolina, then decided I should get rid of everything and move to Portland, Oregon by myself. So here I am! Although I'm not by myself anymore!

I have an incredible husband named David, by incredible I mean that he is funny, charming, very nice to look at, he cooks, cleans, is a very present and loving father. He supports every dream that I have no matter how outlandish they may seem, often times I'll make the plans and he'll make them happen. He is my number one fan; he is quick to criticize and quick to praise. We challenge each other in very healthy ways, and love spending as much time together as possible.

I am a mom to 3 children, two "bonus daughters," (David's girls from his practice marriage...) Allison and Brianna and my son, Preston who has inspired me from the time he took his first breath. Motherhood is challenging, step-motherhood is beyond challenging, but I love these little weasels more than I would have ever thought possible.

I teach about 10 yoga classes a week. I teach in a beautiful studio named Yoga Pearl in the Pearl district of Portland and in the studio of Nike World Headquarters. I also have my own gig teaching private lessons and yoga in the workplace please click here to view my website.

My creative business is Be Sweetly Inspired where I make and sell inspirational housewares. I have been crafting/making/sewing since I was about 8. Once I got over wanting to be an ventriloquist, I decided I wanted to be a designer!

I have been gluten free since 2009. When a series of illness really hit me hard I decided to do a food allergy test. I showed up extremely intolerant of gluten. I have been way healthier since cutting it out, and feel comfort in the company of other gluten free folks. It's almost like a support group :)

I love to think on the fly, craft on the cheap, and make up things to simplify my home and my life. I love: to be inspired, Mod Podge, snuggling and researching! Cheers to making dreams come true!

xoxox,
Lauren
